Dreams Reveal Patterns Of Our Success

Getting useful information about this subject can prove to be quite a difficult undertaking. Just sorting through all the irrelevant data can be very time-consuming. Aware of this, we have decided to do the research and sort out the information that you are looking for. So read on and enjoy!

Everyone has dreams and we're not talking about the 'sleeping' sort of dreams. We're talking about dreams of being someone or somebody someday. Believe it or not, even kids have dreams although their dreams are just larger and exagerated versions of our dreams. Human beings are hard to satisfy...in fact, human beings may never be satisfied with whatever they have and that is why most of us have dreams of achieving our personal goals. Of realizing our innate desires.

We are born to dream

Some people believe that we are all born to do something, to be someone. This is true because we are born with capabilities and talents. Whether you've found your talent or not, it's there. And it's not your friends' or parents' jobs to find out what your talents are - the job is yours. You have to find out your own talents and capabilities by exploring and going through the self-discovery process. During the process of finding out our talents, we will find out, along the way, our dreams.

Usually, our dreams have a lot to do with our talents. It is usually the things that we're good at that ends up shaping our dreams. For example, someone who's good at singing may dream of becoming a singer or performing on stage. And if you are good at numbers, you could be dreaming about becoming a scientist or teacher. Whatever it is, your dream is dictated by the talent that you are born with.

Our interest dictates our dreams

Some people may argue that they have lots of talents and there is no one single talent that is more exceptional than others. These group of people are multi-talented....Jack of all trades, therefore, if you strip them of their finances and friends, they can still survive because they are enriched with multiple talents. They are born to survive!

While it may look, on the outside, like an unfair advantage, it can be a disadvantage. These people are good or above average in so many things, they have difficulty identifying their dreams. They end up having no dreams because they don't know what they are particularly good at.

These people need to, then, rely on their interests to find their dreams. For example, if Jack was good in sports, writing and is good with kids, he would have to think about his interests. It goes back to discovering which particular activities excite Jack the most.

Our dreams represent the best in us

Whatever it is that we're good at and whatever experiences we have had in the past as children represent our dreams. It is when you are a child, unrestrained and without fear, that you dream up the most ludicrous and yet truest dreams.

Let's look at Imelda. Imelda, as a child, grew up fascinated with flying, birds and plans. Her parents think she's a tomboy and tried to encourage her to play with dolls and other girly toys. Today, at the age of 35, Imelda is a pilot and this is what she wanted to do all along.

Even before she knew she wanted to be a pilot, she was dreaming it.
